Ladies and Gents and Wanders abound, we gather here today on this fine and possibly imaginary sweltering sun to gossip about all things twisted up in our heads.
If you are interested in Linking with us, here are a couple of things you should keep in mind:
You can use this meetup to bring awareness to a wide range of mental issues. You can share your own experiences.
If what you want to share is graphic in nature or is a sensitive issue, please be kind enough to put *GRAPHIC* or *TRIGGER* in the title of your link.
What Can You do With this Linkup?
- You can use it to link up a relevant blog post. You can even make a wordless post! You can link up a mental health related article. (I would ask that you first put this in your own blog post with your own commentary and then linkup-to allow the conversation to continue on your page.) If you don’t have a blog and you want to share an article, you can leave a link in the comments below or share your link in the group for the same reasons.
2. You can use it to create a meme or show us your thoughts on an issue! If you share a comic please remember to give them credit for their work.
3. You can scan and upload a picture expressing the state of your mental health. Or share the devices that help you to keep it together… at least for one more day!
4. You can link up using your Instagram account. If your account is private, even though you are linked here ONLY the friends you have given access to will see it. Test it out -You have the ability to remove any links you add.
Now this is how it kind of works. I’m scrolling along… minding my own business when all of sudden I see this article a friend shared:
Sweet Honey Iced Tea! Did you see that? Honey Bear was equally excited because we recently decided to commit to buying the winter German blankets-and we have never slept better!
Craptastic day? Hurry home and crawl in bed. This blanket will melt away your woes!
I also ran across this article on BoredPanda talking about Kristian Nygard’s comics.
You can find more of his work on Optipress. To start you may enjoy ‘Like New Again‘.
Now it’s your turn!
Getting this linky ready did make me a tad thirsty to hear what you have to say! Grab a chilled beverage and use this photo to PIN or to link back to this Linky:
