Capturing Paris with the Book Fairies
When the word came down that our days in Europe was coming to an end, I panicked. No! This can’t be happening! I have so much more to see! There simply wouldn’t be enough time to see it all. After stressing about it I decided that just because I was moving, it didn’t mean I would never come back this way again. I made peace with myself and focused on what I really wanted to see before I left. On the short list was Paris. I knew right then I must find someone who loved Paris as much as I did. I rang for the Book Fairy. “You’re moving?” “Afraid so.”…

Wandering Unicorn Loot
I believe in unicorns. Up until the last couple of years I have kept that knowledge as a secret and unicorn sightings were pretty rare. So you can imagine my surprise this summer when unicorn merchandise started turning up in force. It started with the Starbucks announcement in April that they were selling a limited edition Unicorn Frappuccino. I was sad I wouldn’t be able to try it. Dropping off my husband and wondering why I didn’t take advantage of the free gym. Yeah. So why not? I will tell you why. Talking yourself into getting physically fit, while in the…

March’s Ten Minute *Winks* and Giveaway
March has been a month where I did surprisingly very little reading in favor of updating my European bucket list! 1. I think looking up actual dates and considering different ways of traveling, creates an excitement. Possibly a way to escape-in much the way reading a book is an adventure for both the mind and the soul! Or maybe in the way it romances us, creating an internal build up of anticipation of an experience much like the way we look forward to an interesting date. Until we board that plane or step in to that home away from home, we have so much to envision and discuss. There is really…

The verdict is in
Thank you for participating in our Happy Birthday poll & giveaway! Our winner is Kimberly Kline of Access Profiles, Inc. Who has decided that the gift card would make an excellent Christmas gift! What was the final outcome? The vote was 15 for M rated games and 1 against! Seriously, who has my back here? *sigh* Well I’ll keep my word and let him have access to M rated games. The thing is… I still won. I was able to prove to a reluctant reader and writer that he could do it. The confidence he gained is absolutely worth honoring our deal! Neko is a private person, but he did agree to…
